Choosing Westhampnett House means choosing a setting where home comforts and exceptional care come together in a magnificent Grade II listed Georgian setting. We believe that a warm, homely environment combined with personalised attention creates the perfect foundation for our residents.
At Westhampnett House, we believe that every resident deserves to feel completely at home and respected as an individual. Our philosophy is simple: providing the right combination of outstanding personal care and a nurturing environment.
Many of our care team have been with us for several years, creating a stability and familiarity that our residents value deeply.
We pride ourselves on delivering personalised care to all of our residents. Here’s what you can expect from day-to-day life at Westhampnett House.
Anchored by our beautiful Grade II listed Georgian main building, Westhampnett House has been sympathetically restored to a level of grandeur that echoes its past. Rich in period features such as chandeliers, high ceilings and bay windows, our home balances historic character with modern comforts.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their spaces with their own belongings, family photographs and anything else to make them feel at home.
Menus are carefully planned with input from both residents and our care team to ensure the perfect balance between nutrition, special dietary requirements and, most importantly, enjoyment.
Life at Westhampnett House is filled with opportunities for enrichment and enjoyment. Our varied activity program is designed to cater to diverse interests and abilities, providing meaningful engagement for all our residents.
Our exceptional activity coordinator, takes the time to get to know each resident as an individual and carefully plans a schedule of activities each month, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Activities range from quizzes and games sessions to musical entertainment and dexterity massages.
We understand that wellbeing encompasses more than just physical health. Close cooperation between our experienced team of nurses and carers, alongside local general practitioners, ensures that our residents’ health is managed holistically according to detailed care plans.
Families are always welcome – and encouraged – to join in with our lively calendar of activities, but we understand you can’t always be there in person. It’s why we’ve created a Facebook Group where you can easily keep up to date with what’s happening at Westhampnett House.
We share photos and updates of daily activities, event information and behind the scenes stories.
