We use only the freshest local produce, sourcing seasonal vegetables, dairy, meat, poultry, and fish from trusted independent suppliers. This ensures not only exceptional flavour, but also the highest standards of quality and nutrition in everything we serve.
Our menus are carefully planned to balance nutrition, taste, and presentation, and are updated regularly by our Head Chef in collaboration with our Manager. Special dietary needs, identified in each resident’s personalised Care Plan, are always accommodated — with meals tailored to individual preferences or nursing requirements.
Food is an important part of life at Westhampnett House, and mealtimes are eagerly anticipated social occasions. Many visiting family members choose to join us for lunch, with advance booking recommended.
You won’t find processed foods or shortcuts here. All of our baking is done fresh on-site, using traditional ingredients — real butter, full cream, and those extra-special touches that make cakes, mousses, and puddings truly indulgent. We even produce our own healthy, fresh yoghurt daily.
And of course, no day would be complete without our much-loved afternoon tea — a highlight for many of our residents and their guests.
